Obituary of Zbigniew Naruszewicz

Zbigniew Naruszewicz died Friday April 19, 2019. He was 90 years old. Mr. Naruszewicz was born in Warsaw, Poland. He came to the United States of America in 1952 with his wife and 3 month old son Karl, traveling through Ellis Island, New York. He lived in Jersey City and North Bergen before moving to Sayreville in 1975. He was a steel worker and printer for the American Can Company, Edison for 33 years and he retired 37 years ago. After his retirement he worked part-time for PNC Bank as a maintenance associate. He was a member of the Sayreville Senior Citizens. He loved to garden and care for his flowers and work with wood. He was also an avid fisherman and he and Wanda loved going to Atlantic City. Mr. Naruszewicz is predeceased by his wife Wanda (Duszynski) Naruszewicz in 2012, his son Karl Naruszewicz in 2012 and his brother Walter Naruszewicz. He is survived by his two children – Christine Mattei and her husband Robert of North Brunswick and John Naruszewicz of Hawthorne, four grandchildren – Robert Mattei and his wife Katelyn, Kristyn Murphy and her husband Robert, Eric Zaccardi and John Naruszewicz and three great grandchildren Gianna, Nicholas and Gabriella. Visitation is on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 6:00PM till 9:00PM at the Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, NJ. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, 9:30 AM at Selover Funeral Home followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, North Brunswick. Interment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick
