Obituary of Fernando G Leon Garcia

Fernando G. Leon Garcia, 75, of New Brunswick passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at PowerBack Rehabilitation in Piscataway. Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador to the late Fernando Leon Diaz and Mercedes Augustina Garcia de Leon, immigrated to the United States in 1977 and raised their family in Middlesex County area. He worked as a fork lift driver at various companies over 20+ years and retired in 2006. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Magdalena P. Leon; Loving father of Carlos (Arcania), Caridad (Ronny Tavarez), and Pilar (James Foy II). Proud grandfather of Adrianna, Julianna (Carlos Vizuete), Carly, Angel, and James III. Furthered survived by sisters Martina Leon, Magnolia Leon de Valarezo, Aida Leon de Torres and Angela Leon Garcia and a host of relatives. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8, 2020, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick with funeral services at 5:30 PM. Private cremation will follow.
