Obituary of Richard A Roe

Richard A. Roe, Jr. died Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at home in New Brunswick. He was 77.

Richard was born in Orange and he had lived in Highland Park and North Brunswick before moving to New Brunswick. He was a postal worker at the Joyce Kilmer Post Office, Edison for 28 years and he retired in 2002. Richard proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #2370, East Brunswick.

Richard is predeceased by his parents- Richard A. Sr. and Louise (Mangin) Roe. Surviving are his children, Richard A. Roe III of South Orange; Federico L. Roe of Wellington FL; Cristina L. Horton of Jackson. Brothers Robert Roe of Alpha and Anthony Roe of Kitchener, Ontario Canada. Richard is also survived by his five grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, 1740 Highway 130, North Brunswick. Interment will follow at Saint Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Arrangements by the Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick.
