Obituary of Evelyn A Heymann

Evelyn A. Heymann died Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Memory Care Living at Princeton following a short illness. She was 76. Born in New Brunswick she was a lifelong Milltown resident. Evelyn began her career in banking at People's National Bank in the New Brunswick and Somerset area and retired when it was Fleet Bank. In later years she worked in customer service at Malouf Ford in North Brunswick. Miss Heymann was a member of St. Paul's Church in Milltown. She was predeceased by her parents – Edward and Carrie (Matthews) Heymann; and by her brother Wilbur Heymann. Surviving are her loving dog – Julie Ann; two godsons – Thomas Hanville and Joseph Pastva, Jr.; and several cousins including her caregivers – Elsie Chirico and Dorothy DeAngelo, both of Milltown. Her greatest joys came from her beloved Pomeranians. Evelyn could be seen walking the dogs in the neighborhood daily. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach with her longtime and devoted friends. She was an advocate for Alzheimer's disease and breast cancer awareness. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 PM to 7 PM.
