David was a kind and gentle person with a loving and giving heart. He always amazed me with his acceptance of life and the people he came in contact with. He fought as hard as he could and seemed at peace with the next chapter. He loved his family so much and shared his joy and pride in all of you with me many times. He was so happy to have the support of everyone who helped him. David knew it wasn’t always convenient for everyone but was so greatful for the time he spent with all of you. All the rides to the hospital and appointments were appreciated and afterwards he would say the only good part was spending time with his son and sister and brother in law. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren and his extended family. I know he will be missed and will be sharing his good natured spirit at family gatherings! The “boys” who took him to IHOP were also a source of joy. He loved the companionship and comradiry and of course those pancakes. I will miss him and think of him often.
