Barbara D. Huff, 84, beloved mother and grandmother, died peacefully Monday, December 25, 2017. The daughter of the late Lyod and Margaret (Bowden) Daugherity.
Barbara was born in Portsmouth, Virginia and resided in East Brunswick after her marriage to her beloved husband, Herbert Huff.
She enjoyed a wonderful career in real estate spanning 30 years as both a Weichert Associate and a co-owner of Realty World. She retired in 2001 and moved to Greenbriar at Whittingham, Monroe Township.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 60 years Herbert Huff, and her children David and his wife Elizabeth Huff of South River, Laura and her husband Abraham Gincel of Monroe, and Betsy and her husband John McGrath of Monroe, and her six cherished grandchildren Matthew, Timothy, and Craig Huff, Adam and Paul Gincel and Sarah McGrath.
Barbara was a ray of sunshine, an inspiration, and a source of happiness for all. She had a love for music, enjoyed playing the piano and being the organist at the United Methodist Church of New Brunswick for over 25 years. Family was her primary pastime.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd, 3:00PM--7:00PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on January 3rd, at 10:00 AM at The Cranbury United Methodist Church.
