Obituary of Emily M. Plangemann

Emily M. (Buckelew) Plangemann died Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Willow Springs Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Brick. She was 99. Born in New Brunswick to the late George A. and Marie M. (Delanoy) Buckelew she was a city resident before moving to Brick in 1994. She was a former communicant of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in New Brunswick. Her husband Philip O. Plangemann died in 2011. Surviving are her son Robert G. Plangemann of Breinigsville, Pennsylvania; her daughter Phyllis Kubis and her husband Michael of Brick; six grandchildren – Jeffrey Stigliano and his wife Stacy, Michael Stigliano and his wife Michelle, Kenna Plangemann and her husband Michael Borek, Tate Plangemann, Mary Jo Leighton and Stephanie Benedetto; and seven great grandchildren – David, Theresa, Philip, Jacob, Sydney, Olivia and Michael. Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Tuesday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by a 12:00 noon funeral service at the funeral home.
