Obituary of Ruth Rutkowski

Ruth (Dubienski) Rutkowski died Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Regency Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset. She was 94. Born in Vienna, Austria she lived in Brooklyn, New York before moving to North Brunswick in 1987. She was a licensed Practical Nurse at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick for nine years before retiring in the late 1990s. She served as a military policewoman in the British Army during World War II. Ms. Rutkowski was a member of the Interfaith Network in Milltown and was a former member of the North Brunswick Pioneer Club. Surviving are her brother Ricardo Dubienski of Italy; a niece; and a dear friend Elaine Katarski of Edison. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Route 130 North in South Brunswick. Arrangements are under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick.
