Obituary of Michael Verdi

Michael Verdi passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 5, 2018, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was 57. Michael was born in Philadelphia, PA. He has lived in Morganville for several years.. He was a chef since he was 15 years old and he was presently employed at Ruocco's On 9, Howell Township. He was a 1977 graduate from Wildwood High School. Michael was predeceased by his parents – Gaetano and Marcella (Ferrante) Verdi. Surviving are his son Michael T. Verdi of East Brunswick; his ex-wife Emily L. Verdi of East Brunswick, and his brother Gaetano (Lisa) Verdi of Marco Island, Fla. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, March 10 at 9:00AM at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, Piscataway. Burial will be in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Friends may visit on Friday March 9, 2018, from 2:00PM - 4:00PM and 7:00PM - 9:00PM at the Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick.
