Obituary of Mildred G Linder

Mildred "Millie" (Garlatti) Linder died Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Brandywine Senior Living at Princeton in South Brunswick. She was 92.

Born in New Brunswick to the late Camillo and Margaret (Vecile) Garlatti, she lived in the city before moving to Milltown 33 years ago. She worked at K and K Leather Goods and E.R. Squibb and Sons in New Brunswick before raising her family.

Mrs. Linder was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick. She was a volunteer at St. Mary's Grammar School, was a member of the school's PTA and a volunteer in the "Down with Polio" Program. She was a member of the St. Mary's Golden Age Club and the AARP Chapter #3885 in North Brunswick.

Her husband John F. Linder died in 2002. She was also predeceased by her sister Ida Staudt and her brother Camillo Garlatti. Surviving are two daughters – Barbara Sarnecky and her husband Robert of Hammonton and Carol Link and her husband Michael of Belle Mead; four grandchildren – Renee Kapteina and her husband Brendan, Matthew Sarnecky and his wife Sarah, Kevin Link and Andrew Link; and four great grandchildren – Charlotte, Madeline, Logan and Trevor.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 8:45 AM Saturday from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 9:30 AM Mass at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to St. Mary of Mt. Virgin Church, 198 Sandford Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
