Obituary of Theresa Varga

Theresa R. (Zarillo) Varga died Monday, March 26, 2018, at Margaret McLaughlin McCarrick Care Center in Somerset. She was 100. Born in New York City to the late Antonio and Theresa (Pietrafesa) Zarillo she lived in North Brunswick for most of her life. She worked as a factory supervisor at Carter Wallace in Cranbury for 59 years before retiring in 2003. Mrs. Varga was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick. Her husband Ernest Varga died in 1982. She was also predeceased by three brothers – Peter, Dominick and Charles Zarillo; and five sisters Josephine Inzetta, Gloria Seckrettar, Mary Calate, Fannie Mella and Nettie Spinelli. Surviving are her sister Lucille Bernard of Aliso Viejo, California; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews including John G. Seckrettar, III of North Brunswick, Jeffrey Seckrettar and his wife Edye of Westhampton, Michael Seckrettar of North Brunswick, Lorraine Inzetta of Deans and Lois Jones and her husband Biff of Deans. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 8:45 AM Thursday from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 9:30 AM Blessing at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the North Brunswick First Aid and Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 7043, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
