Obituary of Joseph S Caruso

Joseph S. Caruso died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Lourdes Emergency Department at Deborah in Pemberton Township. He was 70. Born in New Brunswick to the late William V. and Gertrude (Murphy) Caruso he lived in New Brunswick and Cream Ridge before returning to New Brunswick 13 years ago. He was a maintenance mechanic for the University Medical Center at Princeton for 18 years before retiring in 2013. Mr. Caruso was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick. His wife Susan (Weiss) Caruso died in 2016. Surviving are his son Brian J. Caruso and his wife Jacqueline of Cream Ridge; two daughters Kristen M. Caruso of Brick and Dana Caruso of New Brunswick; and eight grandchildren – Brian, Jr., Samantha, Abbigale, Ciana, LaMeek, Avante, Giavianna and Alahna. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 9:45 AM Friday from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick.
