Obituary of Patricia L. DiGiosia

Patricia L. (Sawicki) DiGiosia died Sunday, June 10, 2018, at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. She was 77. Born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Mary (Kruzik) Sawicki she lived in New Brunswick before moving to North Brunswick over 50 years ago. She worked as an administrative assistant at Cosmair, Inc. in Somerset before her retirement. Mrs. DiGiosia was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in North Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband Berardo A. DiGIosia, Sr. in 2004. Surviving are two daughters – Dana Dwyer and her husband Robert of Spotswood and Janine Grippo and her husband ret. Cmdr. Daniel Grippo of Boynton Beach, Florida; her son Berardo A. DiGiosia, Jr. of North Brunswick; two sisters – Natalie Drewes of California and Sylvia Dennis of Pennsylvania; and six grandchildren – Daniel, Matthew and Kaitlin Dwyer and Alexa, Cameron and Isabella Grippo. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by an 11:30 AM Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church in North Brunswick. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Patricia Memorial Fund at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
