Obituary of Roman T. Gumina

Roman T. Gumina died Thursday, July 5, 2018, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. He was 58. Born in New Brunswick he lived in Monmouth Beach for the past 12 years. He received his bachelor degree from Scranton University and a graduate degree from the Harvard Business School OPM Program. He earned certificates from Harvard Business School, London Business School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Gumina was chairman and CEO of Brunswick Bank and Trust Company in New Brunswick since 2006. He was predeceased by his father Carmen J. Gumina; and his brother Frank J. Gumina. Surviving are his five children – Joseph, Anthony, Danielle, Cecilia and Carmen; his granddaughter Callie Rose; his mother Else (Nuth) Gumina; and his sister Kim Jacobs. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Selover Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
