Obituary of William L. Cody

William L. Cody died Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Inspira Medical Center in Woodbury. He was 84. Born in New Brunswick he lived in North Brunswick before moving to Gibbstown 13 years ago. Mr. Cody worked for Triangle Conduit and Cable in New Brunswick for 28 years before becoming a production manager at Flint Group ink manufacturers in South Brunswick for three years, retiring in 2004. Mr. Cody was a former communicant of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in North Brunswick. He was a former member of the Adams Athletic Club in North Brunswick and had coached Little League Baseball in the township. He served in the United States Army during the late 1950s. He was predeceased by two sons William L.Cody, Jr. and William F. Cody; his daughter Cynthia R. Cody; and his brother Francis Cody, Jr. Surviving are three daughters – Carol A. Keating of Marshfield, Massachusetts, Constance M. West of West Deptford and Catherine J. Cody of Warminster, Pennsylvania; his sister Janice Serinese and her husband Mario of Ringoes; his brother Robert Cody, Sr. and his wife Barbara of New Brunswick; his sister-in-law Peggy Cody of Piscataway; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday at Selover Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick.
