Obituary of Troy Robert Glassen

Troy Robert Glassen died Wednesday, November 21, 2018, in New York City. He was 36. Born in Edison he lived in North Brunswick before moving to Manhattan over 10 years ago. He was a waiter at Del Posto Restaurant in New York. Prior to that he was a mechanic for Ryder Trucking in Edison and Pep Boys in East Brunswick. Surviving are his parents Richard and Karen (Velloso) Glassen of North Brunswick; three brothers – Robert Glassen and his wife Erin of Spotswood, Richard Glassen and his wife Thaina of Colorado and Michael Glassen of North Brunswick; his paternal grandmother Gladys Glassen of North Brunswick; and his fiancée Pamela Adames of Edison. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick with a funeral service to be held at 7:30 PM. Private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 145 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
