We are so very sorry for your loss. We met Dave while walking our dog at Bicentennial park. We soon realized that our parents knew each other as children What wonderful times we had walking Barney and Hockey. Occasionally your dad would join us . We shared stories, pictures and memories over coffee back at our house some days. Dave was a very caring person that you could tell loved his family very much. It was an honor to have known him.
May God bless all of you and grant you the mercy that you need.
Rest in peace Dave. Until we meet again.

I only met Dave last summer when he came to work in Monmouth County golf course. I enjoyed working with him. He filled out the paperwork for 2019, at the end of February. I was happy that he would be coming back this summer, and looked forward to our conversations while we worked. He never considered a job to be beneath him, and attacked them with professional attitude.
I will miss him because he brought a lot to the table. He was always polite and kind, easy going and he was a stress reliever with words. Refreshing.
RIP Dave

Dave was a true gentleman. It was an honor to call him my friend. I'm going to miss going to the Rutgers Basketball games with him and listening to him talk about all the High School games from the past. I'm glad we reconnected along with Bobby Romano, Dave Rosenthaw,Frankie Olsavary, and Jeff Previte to enjoy the games and dinner afterwards.May He Rest In Peace.

Dave Brown was a good friend. He was honest, fair, treated people with respect and was always ready to help out a friend. Before his Mother got sick, she asked him to never put her in a nursing home. A promise that he kept. Dave nursed her for years, dealing with Alzheimer’s and all the accompanying issues.
They say a man’s riches are in the friends he has, if that is true Dave passed a very rich man. He will be sorely missed for his wit, his humor, his love of life, and mostly his friendship. I already miss him.

It's been many decades since I saw my second cousin as we moved to Georgia in 1965, but I have fond memories of our childhood visits.
Sincerest condolences to all Dave's family and friends.

So sorry for your loss, I’ve known Dave since HS, such a great person. Loved all the nostalgics of athletics from HS and Rutgers sports that Dave would always talk about. Myself and some friends had the pleasure of having Dave with us the past couple of years going to Rutgers football and basketball games and then going out to dinner and just as recently as the past month. Dave will truly be missed.

I am so sorry for the loss of Dave. We went to HS together, and later on in our 20's ended up on the same bowling team. He was a very nice person. My sympathy to the Brown family.

John, Tannis and Steve, It has been a heartbreaking week with the loss of Dave. I have never been with Dave when he was not complete gentleman and handled himself with class. He will be truly missed. Dave tell your Dad and My Dad hello and give them both a hug for me. You can now have those two and three hour talks we used to have with them. Take care buddy. See you down the road. Tom, Carol and Dillon.
