Steffie’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

My Dear Tybor Family - I have so many fond memories of Steffie. I think of her as my second mother because she cared for me when I was little while my parents went to work. I remember having fresh strawberries dusted with sugar and sweet cream, delicious strawberry whipped cream birthday cakes, playing on a blanket in your backyard, going to the Ukrainian Village with tube tires to play in the water, sunny days at Point Pleasant beach and learning Ukrainian dances. She remembered all my milestones with a thoughtful gift that I treasure to this day. So I share in your sorrow as I do many of our memories. Here’s to a life well lived and may God bless Steffie and keep her in His care.

Dear Donna and William,
My thoughts and prayers are with you both during this sad time. Steffie was one in a million, and I loved her from the moment I met her. I have wonderful memories of us shopping together in NYC when we were young, and when she and your Dad would come to Montreal to visit. No one could tell a story like Steffie did! She had such a big heart, and her door was always open to family and friends who were passing through Jersey. God bless you both. Rest in peace Steffie. Vichnaya Pamyat.
Love,
Aunty Olga

Donna, William, and Frank.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Your Mom, our Aunt Steffie, was a special woman – strong in her faith, kind and generous, with a wicked sense of humour. She was not one to suffer fools – she called them as she saw them! All of your Canadian family have wonderful and vivid memories of your Mom and Dad. Somehow paska and kabassa from New Jersey seemed to taste better than our local products, no doubt infused with the love your Mom brought on her visits to Canada. Rest in peace, Aunt Steffie. Vichnaya Pamyat.

Dear Donna and William,
Mike and I send you our condolences. Your mother was a wonderful lady and cherished by everyone who knew her, We did not see her often, but her and Uncle Willy's annual visits to my Baba and parents were special times for our family. Whenever i think of her, I remember her demonstrating the newest head-wear when they came to Montreal for our wedding: a halo fashioned out of a ring of koobassa. Only Aunt Steffie could pull that one off!!
We will all miss her. Our thoughts and love go out to both of you and the rest of the family.
Our love,
Joyce and Mike

Dear Donna and William,
I was so sad to hear of your Mum's passing. Aunt Steffie was such a special lady, and I treasure my wonderful memories of her. As a child, Labor Day weekends always began with the anticipation of your Mum and Dad arriving in Montreal for their annual weekend visit - I can still hear the polka music coming from the car as they drove up the street. Your Mum made the world a better place, and her love, kindness, and generosity will always be remembered.

Donna and William ~ I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom will always hold a very special place in my heart. I fondly remember going over to the store and talking with your parents. No matter how busy the store was, your Mom would wave at me and tell me to wait, so that we had a chance to talk. On my 21st birthday, I returned home to a beautiful floral arrangement and a bottle of champagne, with a note that said "We wanted to make sure that we provided you with your first legal drink". My sincere condolences. May happy memories and the love of family and friends get you through the tough days, and may your Mom rest in eternal peace. xo

Dear Donna & Family,
"My Mom met her at the pearly gates" and they went to have their SHARED
birthday cakes together with hot tea/coffee! Their friendship was always special sharing their birthdays only weeks apart at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, year after year. Your Mom was very special to Nettie and me.
We always had a good time talking at the table, sharing our life stories! I admired how she worked at the grocery stores sharing food samples. She was an advid bowler like Ed and me, and that's just GRAND in our book. Vichniyu pamyat dear Steffie. You earned your crown of glory ! Memory Eternal. With our love.
