Obituary of Doreen Panek

Doreen J. (Loncsak) Panek died Monday, September 16, 2019, at Merwick Care and Rehabilitation Center in Plainsboro. She was 80. Born in New Brunswick to the late Geza and Irene (Bucsko) Loncsak, she was a resident of Monroe Township. She worked at ShopRite in East Windsor for seven years before retiring in 2007. Surviving are her son Guy Wilson and his wife Miriam of Hainesport; her daughter Wendy Pearl of Monmouth Junction; her sister Janis Batsch and her husband Frank of Florida; two grandchildren – Valerie and Matthew Pearl of Monmouth Junction; and two nephews Kyle and Russell Batsch. Cremation was private. A gathering of friends and relatives will take place Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Association for Cancer Research Foundation at AACRFoundation.org
