Wilma (Stoffer) Polonyi died Monday, March 2, 2020, at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 96.
Born in Varpalota, Hungary, she lived in the Middlebush section of Franklin Township and in Highland Park before moving to New Brunswick 30 years ago. She was the mailroom supervisor at Boy Scouts of America in North Brunswick before her retirement.
Surviving are her son Stephen T. Polonyi of New Brunswick; her daughter Christina Vitanza and her husband Michael of North Brunswick; a sister in Hungary; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Private funeral arrangements were under the direction of Selover Funeral Home.
