Obituary of Muriel F Swensen

Muriel F. (Lounsbury) Swensen died Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at her home in North Brunswick. She was 75. Born in Caribou, Maine to the late Emmet and Irene (Labbe) Lounsbury, she lived in North Brunswick for over 50 years. She was a teacher's aide in the North Brunswick Township schools for over 25 years before her retirement. Muriel was predeceased by her two sons – Arne K. Swensen in 2007 and Michael S. Swensen in 2017. Surviving are her husband Arne Swensen; her sister Renee Sernyik of Monroe Township; three brothers – Howard Lounsbury of Delaware, Keith Lounsbury of Florida and Mark Lounsbury of Delaware; and several nieces and nephews and their families. Cremation was private. A gathering of family and friends will take place 5:00 PM to7:00 PM Tuesday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick with a memorial service at 6:45 PM.
