Obituary of Philon Anton McGhee

Philon Anton McGhee, 48, died on Sunday September 27th, 2020 at home in New Brunswick. Philon was born in Newark, New Jersey and live in Bloomfield, New Jersey before moving to New Brunswick. He started his career at the United States Postal Service until 2009. He continued as a security guard at the ProCop Security Company of Newark, New Jersey. Philon is predeceased by his father Harold Lee McGhee. He is survived by his mother Sheila Doris (Garrett) McGhee of Bloomfield; his wife Tamika (Caple) McGhee of New Brunswick; three children - Alicia Shantia Hudson of Newark; Iyanna Symone McGhee of New Brunswick; and Philon Anton McGhee, Jr. of New Brunswick; a brother Dushont Marable of Belleville; a granddaughter Dakota Dior Godbolt of Newark; mother-in-law Lucille Adams; sister-in-law Latisha (Caple) John; a niece Danika Rose Marable; two nephews - Ahmaad Swan and Labron John. Plus a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Philon was very family-oriented, he was a warm, gentle, good-hearted soul that will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and co-workers.
