Obituary of Irene Tymitz

Irene (Yankoski) Tymitz died Saturday, October 17, 2020, at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 81.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Bertha (Suchowiecki) Yankoski, she lived in New Brunswick before moving to North Brunswick 48 years ago. She was a school crossing guard for the North Brunswick Township Police Department for 25 years before her retirement in 2010.
Her husband Raymond Tymitz died in 2019. Surviving are her daughter Lisa LaMonica and her husband Mark of North Brunswick; her son Raymond Tymitz, Jr. of North Brunswick; two brothers – Gerald Yankoski of Manhattan Beach, California and Joseph Yankoski of Old Bridge; and three grandchildren – Christina Lapatka, Jessica Rae Tymitz and Jake LaMonica.
Private cremation was under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick with the burial of the cremated remains in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
