Obituary of Lawrence W. Murphy

Lawrence W. Murphy died Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. He was 60. Born in Perth Amboy to the late Robert F. and Dorothy J. (Mazur) Murphy, he lived in North Brunswick before moving to South Amboy 25 years ago. He was a construction manager for Geis Construction of Streetsboro, Ohio. Prior to that he had worked for K. Hovnanian. Surviving are two sons – Daniel Murphy of North Brunswick and Brandon Murphy of South Amboy. Visitation will be 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM Saturday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in North Brunswick. Private cremation will follow.
