Obituary of Elsie S. Friday

Elsie (Sandstedt) Friday died Monday, January 11, 2021, at Normandy Farm Estates in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. She was 100. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late John and Victoria (Ericcson) Sandstedt, she lived in New Brunswick, NJ, North Brunswick, NJ and Cranbury, NJ before moving to Blue Bell 25 years ago. For more than 60 years she greatly enjoyed spending time at her little yellow cottage in Stone Harbor, NJ. Mrs. Friday was an active member of Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Brunswick. She served for many years as a volunteer at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick. Her husband Nicholas Friday died in 1987. Surviving are two daughters - Barbara Friday of Washington, DC and Patricia Solt and her husband David of Fort Washington, PA; four grandchildren – Benjamin Solt of Fort Washington, Susana Donofry and her husband Dustin of Fairbanks, Alaska, Paul Solt and his wife Stephanie of Rochester, New York and Laura Solt of Phoenix, Arizona; a niece Mary Anne Eubanks of Hendersonville, North Carolina; and a nephew Richard Buthy of Villas, NJ.
