Obituary of Richard W. Pychewicz

Richard W. Pychewicz died Friday, January 15, 2021, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 83. Born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Theodore and Mary (Dunleavy) Pychewicz, he lived in Staten Island, New York before moving to East Brunswick in 2006. Mr. Pychewicz was a stationary fireman for the City of New York, Department of Sanitation for 35 years before his retirement in 1994. Surviving are his wife Ann (Bianculli) Pychewicz; his son Rick Pychewicz and his wife Francine of Edison; two daughters – Robin Marino and her husband Kenneth of Edison and Francine Silvester and her husband John of Land-O-Lakes, Florida; four grandchildren – Ashley Decio and her husband Tom; Alexa Marino and her wife Nicole, Ric Pychewicz and Nicole Pychewicz; and his dog Gigi. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. A funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Selover Funeral Home. Private cremation will follow.
