Obituary of Russell J Yates

Russell J. Yates died Friday, March 5, 2021, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 75. Born in New Brunswick to the late Russell P. and Leonora (Dicara) Yates, he lived in North Brunswick before moving to Edison 22 years ago. He was a foreman with the Middlesex County Road Department in North Brunswick for over 20 years before his retirement. Surviving are his wife Rose Mary (Sohl) Yates; his daughter Rose Mary Yates of Edison; his sister Geraldine Palombi and her husband Victor of California; two nieces and a nephew. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Selover Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick.
