Obituary of Sandy Vingara

Sandy Vingara, Jr. died Friday, March 5, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 89. Born in Newark to the late Sandy and Rose (Tremarco) Vingara, he was raised in Jamesburg and lived in North Brunswick for the past 63 years. He was a plumber's assistant with Nastus Brothers Plumbing and Heating in North Brunswick for over 25 years. Prior to that he worked for Acme Valve Installing Company in New Brunswick for over 30 years. Surviving are his wife Carol Sue (Wilson) Vingara; three sons – Richard Vingara of Spotswood, Robert Vingara and his wife Denice of Feasterville, Pennsylvania and Thomas Vingara and his wife Emma of Robbinsville; two daughters – JoAnn Riley and her husband Kenneth of North Brunswick and Theresa Aich and her husband Gary of Parlin; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Cremation was private. A gathering of family and friends will be held 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick.
