Almeta G. (Burns) Kish died Friday, March 12, 2021, at Meadowview Assisted Living in Smithfield, North Carolina. She was 93. Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey to the late William and Sophie (Richards) Burns, she lived in New Brunswick before leaving the area 10 years ago. She was a specialist for Johnson and Johnson in New Brunswick for eight years before retiring in 1984. Mrs. Kish was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick and St. Ann R.C. Church in Clayton, North Carolina. She was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Ortley Beach, New Jersey. She was predeceased by her husband Alex M. Kish in 1986; and by three brothers Edward, Thomas and William Burns. Surviving are her daughter Gail DiPane and her husband Joseph of Monroe Township, New Jersey; two sons – William Kish and his wife Jacqueline of Round Rock, Texas, formerly of Smithfield, North Carolina and Richard Kish and his wife Debbie of Clovis, California; her sister Elizabeth Burns Boylan of New Brunswick; seven grandchildren – Dawn DiPane, Kevin DiPane and his wife Jessica, Dana DiPane Wilhelmy and her husband Barrhett Wilhelmy, Alex Ryan, Patrick Kish, Connor Kish and Ryan Kish; and four great grandchildren – Caitlyn, Wyatt, Shane and Vivienne. Private services are under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick.
