Obituary of Angelina Sciortino

Angelina (Bianca) Sciortino died Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at her home in Highland Park. She was 91. Born in New Brunswick to the late Leo and Frances (Ferrara) Bianca, she lived in New Brunswick before moving to Highland Park in 1972. She was a clerk typist in the Middlesex County Surrogate's Office in New Brunswick for 40 years before her retirement in 2000. Mrs. Sciortino was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph R. Sciortino in 2001; and by her daughter Joanna in 1992. Surviving are her son Rosario "Russ" Sciortino and his wife Patricia Vitale of Highland Park; her daughter Francine Bonaccorsi and her husband Stephen of Moorestown; three grandchildren – Diana Bonaccorsi, Stephanie Quach and Joseph Sciortino; and three great grandchildren – Jolie Angelina Sciortino, Ada Joanna Chinco and Theodora Rose Chinco. Visitation will be Monday, April 5, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick.
