Dale E. (Sappenfield) Nora passed away, Sunday, April 4, 2021, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville. She was 79.
Born in Orange to the late Robert and Evelyn (Van Pelt) Sappenfield, she lived in New Brunswick before moving to Martinsville in 1972. She worked with her husband at his consulting engineer business.
Dale enjoyed travel, classical music and art, English literature and crossword puzzles. She served in the United States Navy in the early 1960s.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years Frank R. Nora; two sons – Frank Nora and his wife Denice of Nutley and John Nora and his wife Johanna of the Bronx, New York; her daughter Julie Nora of Queens, New York; and her brother Robert Sappenfield of Darby, Montana.
Private arrangements are under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
