Obituary of Eileen Sanchez Coleman

Eileen Sanchez Coleman died Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Seasons Hospice at Memorial Hospital in Pembroke Pines, Florida. She was 84. Born in New Brunswick to the late Juan D. Sanchez, Sr. and Rose (Bruno) Sanchez, she lived in Purchase, New York before moving to Pembroke Pines in 1980. She was a bilingual office administrator for Robstone Company, an electrical contracting firm in Miami, Florida, for 14 years before her retirement. Mrs. Coleman was a volunteer and treasurer of The Marian Center School and Services for Developmental Disabilities in Miami Gardens for 17 years. She was a member of the Rutgers University Women's League. She was predeceased by her husband John F. Coleman in 2000; and by her brother Juan D. "Jack" Sanchez, Jr. in 2013. Surviving are her daughter Patricia P. Thompson of New York City; her son Michael Nourse and his wife Angelita of Anchorage, Alaska; her significant other Robert Lee McCaig of Pembroke Pines, FL; and Robert's daughter Katrina Ryan of Hollywood, FL. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Monday, April 26, 2021, at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 1730 US Highway 130, North Brunswick. Entombment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Marian Center, 15701 N.W. 37th Avenue, Miami Gardens, FL 33054. Arrangements are under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick.
