Obituary of Douglas Faucher

Douglas Faucher died Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida. He was 79.
Born in the Bronx, New York to the late Xenon and Helen (Negy) Faucher, he lived in Summit, New York and Sebastian, Florida before moving to Melbourne a year and a half ago. He was a mechanic in the International Longshoremen's Association, working out of Staten Island, before his retirement.
Mr. Faucher was a firefighter in Summit, New York. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1959 to 1964.
Surviving are his wife Dorothy (Adamo) Faucher; his son Douglas Faucher and his wife Angela of North Brunswick, New Jersey; his daughter Laurie DeJesus and her husband Ray of Pennsylvania; his sister Vicki Crabbe of Long Island, New York; and three grandchildren – Matthew McGuire, Julianne McGuire and Lee Riley.
A gathering of friends and relatives will be held 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, May 14, 2021, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Graveside burial of his cremated remains will take place 10:30 AM Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
