Obituary of George Sarigeorgiou

George Sarigeorgiou died Sunday, May 9, 2021, at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 94. Born in Port Said, Egypt he resided in Edison for most of his life. He worked for Johnson and Johnson in North Brunswick for over 30 years before retiring in 1989. Mr. Sarigeorgiou was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway. He was president of the Samion Organization of New Jersey. Surviving are his wife Anthie (Delemarco) Sarigeorgiou; two sons – James Sarigeorgiou of Edison and William Sarigeorgiou and his wife Marie of Middlesex, Delaware; and his granddaughter Elena Sarigeorgiou. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1101 River Road, Piscataway followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service at St. George Church. Burial will follow in Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. Arrangements are under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
