Obituary of Barbara Watkoskey

Barbara (Novak) Watkoskey died Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Complete Care at Willow Creek. She was 86. Born in Jersey City she lived in Bayonne before moving to North Brunswick over 25 years ago. After raising her daughters she persued her education at Jersey City State College and obtained her degree as a physical education teacher. She taught at private and parochial schools in Bayonne and after moving to North Brunswick became a substitute teacher in the North Brunswick and South Brunswick school systems. Mrs. Watkoskey was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in North Brunswick and was a member of the church's Rosary Society. Surviving are her husband Robert Watkoskey; two daughters – Claire Vitale of North Brunswick and Carol Bruno and her husband Maurice of Naples, Florida; her sister Arlene Veal and her husband Bobby of Ocean Port; and her brother Robert Misinkiewicz and his wife Diane of Shark River. Private cremation and entombment of the cremated remains in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown are under the direction of Selover Funeral Home in North Brunswick.
