Obituary of Konstantin Sarafoglu

Konstantin Sarafoglu died Thursday, June 3, 2021, at his home in Piscataway. He was 53. Born in Istanbul, Turkey to Prodromos and Kileanthi (Illiadis) Sarafoglu, he lived in Highland Park before moving to Piscataway 20 years ago. He was an accountant for JetBlue Airlines in Long Island City, New York for the past seven years. Mr. Sarafoglu was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway and the church's AHEPA. Surviving are his son Prodromos Sarafoglu; his daughter Kleanthi Sarafoglu; his parents - Prodromos and Kileanthi (Illiadis) Sarafoglu of Athens, Greece; his brother Savva G. Sarafoglu and his wife Paola of Perth Amboy; his sister Mary Sarafoglou of Athens, Greece; two nephews – Nicholas and Alphonse; and his aunt Georgia Soro. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, June 11, 2021, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1101 River Road, Piscataway followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. Arrangements are under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
