Obituary of Ralph Howard Ervin

Ralph Howard Ervin died on Monday, June 28, 2021, at his home in East Windsor. He was 95. Born in Perth Amboy he lived in Ringoes and Monroe before moving to East Windsor seven years ago. Ralph was a designer and draftsman for thirty five years at E. R. Squibb and Sons in New Brunswick, retiring in 1989. He served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corp with the 100th Air Service Squadron, 5th Air Force in the South Pacific. Prior to WWII he attended mechanics school at Roosevelt Air Field, Long Island, New York. He was a member of the St. Stephens Lodge #63 Free and Accepted Masons in South Amboy and a member of the Shriners of Trenton. He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Eleanor (Petersen) Ervin and his sister Vivian Delaney. Ralph is survived by his wife Dorothy (Lotz) Ervin of East Windsor; many nieces and nephews including Abbigail and Joseph Swanton. Private graveside services will be in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements by the Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick.
