Obituary of Kyriakos Kostis

Kyriakos Kostis died Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 48. Born in Rhodes, Greece he came to the United States in 2000 and lived in Edison before moving to Monroe Township one year ago. He was a painter with Dimitrakis Construction Group in North Brunswick for the past ten years. He was predeceased by his father Ioannis Kostis. Surviving are his wife Ekaterini "Kathy" Makras; his son Yianni Kostis of Monroe; His mother Maria (Hantzisavvas) Kosti of Rhodes, Greece; his sister Irini Kosti of Rhodes, Greece; and his brother Manos Kostis of Rhodes, Greece. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 9:30 AM Thursday from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 10:30 AM service at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1101 River Road, Piscataway. Burial will follow in Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick.
