Obituary of John M Mihalenko

John M. Mihalenko died Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 60. Born in Bayonne to the late Stephen and Helen (Beley) Mihalenko, he lived in Bayonne before moving to North Brunswick 28 years ago. He was a senior engineer for AECOM in Newark for the past 22 years. John was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in North Brunswick. He enjoyed time with his family, fishing and bike riding, and watching the Mets. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by his brother Edward Mihalenko. Surviving are his wife Susan (Kolano) Mihalenko; his daughter Cynthia Mihalenko; his son Stephen Mihalenko; his brother Stephen A. Mihalenko of Bayonne; his sister-in-law Carol Mihalenko of Bayonne; and Carol and Edward's children Debra Olszewski and her husband William and their family and Kevin Mihalenko and his wife Danielle. Private funeral services are under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
