Obituary of Steven R Skolsky

Steven R. Skolsky died Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 68. Born in Perth Amboy to the late Robert and Antoinette (Gann) Skolsky, he lived in South River before moving to North Brunswick 35 years ago. He was a FujiFilm professional camera support technician for Computer Generated Solutions in Edison for the past 16 and a half years. He was a lifelong photography enthusiast and was a professional photographer. Mr. Skolsky was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick. He was a scuba diver and a member of the New Jersey Reefers Club. He was a huge New Jersey Devils fan. Surviving are his wife Joanne (Cassalle) Skolsky; four sons – Sean Skolsky of Los Angeles, California, Matthew Skolsky and his wife Melissa of Jackson, Christopher Skolsky of North Brunswick and Patrick Skolsky and his wife Stacy of North Brunswick; his beloved dog Caesar; two brothers – Richard Skolsky and his wife Patricia of New Mexico and Glenn Skolsky of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. He was beloved by his many family, friends, coworkers and photographers world wide. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 9:15 AM Saturday from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
