Obituary of Jason John Kormondy

Jason J. Kormondy died Saturday, October 16, 2021, at his home in Milltown. He was 48. Born in New Brunswick he lived in there before moving to Milltown three years ago. He was a fireman for the City of New Brunswick for 17 years before retiring in 2020. He was also an accountant. Mr. Kormondy was a communicant of St. Bartholomew's R.C. Church in East Brunswick. He was predeceased by his father John A. Kormondy. Surviving are his wife Nadya Lazarev; his son Michael Kormondy of Milltown; his daughter Gianna Kormondy of Metuchen; his stepson Daniel Lazarev of Milltown; his stepdaughter Polina Lazarev of Milltown; his mother Helene (Prochnicki) Mumford of New Brunswick; and his sister Lisa Kormondy of Rockaway. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday at Selover Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
