Obituary of Richard P. Kulesa

Richard P. Kulesa died Friday, December 10, 2021, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 77.
Born in New Brunswick to the late Peter and Mary (Paprota) Kulesa, he lived in Old Bridge before moving to Jamesburg 50 years ago. He was a construction technician for the State of New Jersey for 42 years before retiring in 2004.
Mr. Kulesa served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Forrestal, surviving the 1967 fire onboard the aircraft carrier.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years Betty (Beyrouty) Kulesa; his daughter Christine Morehouse and her husband Chris of Manahawkin; his son Gary Kulesa and his wife Shannon of Jackson; and five grandchildren – Madison and Tyler Morehouse and Kyle, Jacob and Aiden Kulesa.
Visitation will be 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
