Please share a memory of Rose to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rose (Piparo) Reap of Ashland, Massachusetts formerly of North Brunswick passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, after a brief illness. She was 82. Born in New Brunswick, to the late Giuseppe and Concetta Piparo, Rose was the longtime front end manager at Davidson's and Foodtown in New Brunswick until moving to Ashland, MA to be closer to her son and grandchildren. After moving to Massachusetts, she worked in Nutritional Services with the Ashland School System until retiring in 2016. Rose graduated from New Brunswick High School in 1957 and actively served on the Class of 1957 reunion committee for many years. She was the wife of the late John Reap who died in 1992; and the longtime companion of the late John Haroll, who died in 2004. She was also predeceased by her daughter Teresa Reap; sisters - Jean Tanner and Josephine Denker; and brother - Charles Piparo. Rose is survived by one son, Dr. John (Jay) Reap and his wife Suzanne of Ashland; four grandchildren - Jack, Elise, Grant, and Dean Reap; cousins - Russell and Janet Piparo and Charles and Rose Piparo; as well as many beloved nieces, and nephews. Her warmth, generosity, and welcoming personality meant everyone was a friend and she leaves behind too many to count. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 30th at 10:30 AM at Saint Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, 192 Sandford Street, New Brunswick.
