Obituary of Joyce S. Ciancia

Joyce S. (Coster) Ciancia died Friday, December 31, 2021, at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. She was 88.

Born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Conrad and Jeane (Zimmerman) Coster, she lived in New Brunswick before moving to Riverview, Florida in 2005. She returned to New Jersey in September.

Her husband Richard J. Ciancia, Sr. died in 2007. Surviving are eight children – Donna Doyle and her husband James of Blakeslee, Pennsylvania, Richard J. Ciancia, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Point Pleasant, Vito Ciancia of Brick, Linda Ciancia of Hillsboro, North Carolina, Brenda Rosenberg of Monroe Township, Theresa Yassa of Bradenton, Florida, Bruce Ciancia and his wife Roberta of Monroe Township, and Michael Ciancia and his wife Norma of Howell; two brothers – Barry Coster of Somerset and Kenneth Coster of Hawaii; 20 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM Friday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by a 5:30 PM service at the funeral home. Private cremation will follow. The family requests no flowers be sent.
