Obituary of Georgia Kolias

Georgia (Apostolakis) Kolias died Monday, January 3, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 78.

Born in Crete, Greece to the late George and Frida (Katsama) Apostolakis, she lived in New Brunswick before moving to North Brunswick in 1967.

Mrs. Kolias was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway where she was a member of the church choir and volunteered for many church functions.

Her husband George T. Kolias died in 2016. Surviving are two sons – Fred Kolias and his wife Diane of Washington Township and Chris Kolias of Lawrenceville.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1101 River Road, Piscataway followed by a 10:00 AM funeral service at the church. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. Arrangements are by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
