Obituary of Joyce D. Hermann

Joyce D. (Christie) Hermann died Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville. She was 101. Born in New Brunswick to the late John and Mary (Bee) Christie, she lived in Colts Neck and North Brunswick before moving to Bridgewater in 2007. She was owner of Van Brunt & Son Transportation in Old Bridge from 1962 until her retirement in 1998. She was a former member of the Presbyterian Church of New Brunswick. Her husband Fred C Hermann predeceased her. Surviving are two daughters – Wendy Barry and her husband John of Califon and Pamela Mallen and her husband Frank of Arizona; her son Frederick J. Hermann and his wife Mary of Emmaus, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. Arrangements are by Selover Funeral Home in North Brunswick.
