Obituary of Elizabeth V. Sirna

Elizabeth V. (Csubak) Sirna died Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Avalon Assisted Living at Hillsborough. She turned 100 years old in December. Born in Port Reading to the late Alex and Elizabeth (Toth) Csubak, she lived in North Brunswick for 66 years before moving to Branchburg in 2012. She was a private duty registered nurse for over 50 years before retiring in 1995. Mrs. Sirna was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick. Her husband Andrew N. Sirna died in 1990. She was also predeceased by her son Andrew A. Sirna, formerly of Neptune, in 2021. Surviving are two daughters – Mary Ann Bryden and her husband Dave of Branchburg and Kathleen Sinclair and her husband Micky of Westminster, California; two sons – Robert Sirna and his wife Colleen of Pine Bush, New York and Joseph Sirna and his wife Mary Kay of Huntington Beach, California; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church, corner of Remsen Avenue and Sandford Street, New Brunswick. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Arrangements are under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
