Obituary of Louise Gumbinger

Louise (Flak) Gumbinger died Friday, March 11, 2022, at her home in Milltown. She was 100 years old.

Born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Regine (Krupa) Flak, Louise spent most of her young life in Manhattan, later moving to the Bronx to raise her son. She moved to Milltown in1965 where she enjoyed gardening, competitive bowling and golf. She was a devoted caretaker who loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Louise was predeceased by her husband Walter Joseph Gumbinger in 1996; her son Walter Gumbinger in 2013; and her sister Josephine Flak in 2010. Surviving are her daughter-in-law Ann (DeLibero) Gumbinger; her grandchildren- Lori (Gumbinger) Kraemer and her husband Scott; Walter J. Gumbinger and his wife Bobbi Ann (Sica) and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by an 10:30 AM Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Milltown. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
