Obituary of Albert D Kovacs

Albert D. Kovacs died Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the home of his niece in North Brunswick, New Jersey. He was 85 years old.

Born in Linden, New Jersey to the late Michael and Ethel V. (Karnay) Kovacs, he lived in Vermont for the past 40 years. He worked as a mechanic for Burndy Corporation in Vermont before his retirement. After retiring, he enjoyed working at Santa's Village in Jefferson, New Hampshire.

Mr. Kovacs served in the United States Army in the late 1950s.

He was predeceased by his wife Patricia (Drew) Kovacs. Surviving are his brother Edward Kovacs and his wife Evelyn of New Jersey; 16 nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Monday, April 4, 2022 at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by an 11:00 AM Mass at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in North Brunswick. Entombment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.  In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial donations to the Vermont Land Trust at https://vlt.org/
