Obituary of Elvira Zielinski

Elvira (Baratta) Zielinski died Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge. She was 91 years old.

Born in Jersey City to the late Nicola and Eleonora (Baratta) Baratta, she lived in Jersey City, Rutherford and Washington Township before moving into the North Brunswick Senior Housing Building in 2003.

Mrs. Zielinski was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in North Brunswick.

Her husband Alfred Zielinski died in 2001. Surviving are her sons – Paul Zielinski and his wife Beverly of Point Pleasant Beach, Mark Zielinski and his wife Janine of Franklin Park and Robert Zielinski of Concord, New Hampshire; a daughter-in-law Laurie Zielinski of Hampton, New Hampshire; eight grandchildren – Jared, Kurt, Lauren, Samantha and Alexander Zielinski, Kaitlin Derkach and Jason and Matthew Primavera; and a great granddaughter Adrianna Zielinski.

Visitation will be 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at Our Lady of Peace in North Brunswick. Private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elvira's name may be made to the Reformed Church Home, 1990 Route 18 North, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
